- Measuring Principle
Use potassium persulfate under alkaline conditions to digest the sample at high temperature, and all the nitrogen contained in the sample is oxidized into nitrate. Measure the absorbance of the digested sample at wavelengths of 220 nm and 275 nm respectively, and get the absorbance A220 and A275. Calculate the end absorbance A according to the formula A = A220 - 2A275. The instrument can calculate the concentration of total nitrogen in the sample through UV spectrophotometric conversion.
