The first sewage treatment plant in Ningbo

Meacon has recently partnered with Ningbo Urban Drainage Limited Company to provide a comprehensive process automation solution for its subsidiary, Fuming Purification Water Plant, which includes instruments such as ultrasonic level meters and ultrasonic sludge level meters.

Fuming Purification Water Plant is the first sewage treatment plant under Ningbo Urban Drainage Limited Company and also the first sewage treatment plant in Ningbo. The plant was completed and put into operation in March 1999, with a processing capacity of 100,000 m³/day.

The first phase of the plant's transformation used MBR membrane technology for treatment, while the second phase added deep bed filters and advanced front-end treatment. Today, the plant's process has been upgraded from the original "coagulation-sedimentation-filtration" to a more advanced membrane treatment process, with the treated water being reused for ecological replenishment in Lujia River.

During the upgrade process, Meacon instruments were mainly used for continuous measurement and real-time monitoring of sewage levels and sludge quantities at the plant to ensure stable and efficient operation of the sewage treatment process.

In the project, Meacon's ultrasonic level meters and ultrasonic sludge level meters successfully replaced similar foreign products, achieving localization. With on-site debugging by professional engineers, all instrument data is accurate and operating steadily.
