Common failure problems of pressure sensors

Time: | Read: 103

Pressure sensors are widely used in industrial production and are a very important production instrument. The modern industrial production environment is very complex, so pressure sensors should be regularly inspected and maintained during use to avoid failures that affect their functions. Here is an introduction.

The sealing of the pressure sensor is a very important characteristic. When the output does not change, the transmitter output changes suddenly when the pressure is increased, and the pressure drops again, the sealing ring returns to block the pressure inlet, and the remaining pressure cannot be released, so the sensor cannot be zeroed. Generally speaking, the sealing ring problem is often caused by incorrect sealing ring specifications. The pressure medium cannot enter when pressurized, but the sealing ring is suddenly broken when the pressure is high, and the pressure sensor changes due to pressure.

When the pressure pointer of the sensor deviates greatly from the pressure gauge, it may be the effect of the installation position of the micro differential pressure transmitter on the zero position output. Since the micro differential pressure transmitter has a very small measurement range, the sensor element in the transmitter will affect the output of the micro differential pressure transmitter. When installing, the pressure sensitive part of the transmitter should be axially perpendicular to the direction of gravity, and the zero position of the transmitter should be adjusted to the standard value after installation.
